Voremi ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
You may use Voremi as a guest (anonymous device identifier) or sign in with Google or Apple. If you choose to sign in, we receive only the profile information you allow (such as your name and email address) to create and manage your account. We do not collect your phone number unless you enter it in your profile.
Optional location-related information
If you allow it in the app, we may receive coarse location-related fields you send to our servers (for example country, country code, and approximate latitude/longitude from your device or IP-based lookup) to improve timezone and session features. We do not continuously track your real-time GPS location in the background. You can stop sending this data by not granting location permission and by not including location fields in app requests.
Automatically Collected Information
The app may collect limited, non-personal and anonymous data through third-party services, including:
- App usage events (screen views, feature interactions)
- Device information (device model, OS version)
- Crash and performance diagnostics
- Subscription status and purchase metadata (such as product identifier, entitlement status, and purchase/expiry timestamps) used to enable premium features
- Voice recording metadata (duration, timestamp). We never collect the content of your recordings without your consent.
We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play. This information cannot be used to identify an individual user on its own.
How We Use Information
Collected information is used solely to:
- Improve app performance and stability
- Understand feature usage
- Fix bugs and crashes
- Transcribe your voice recordings into organized notes using AI
- Deliver reminders and notifications you have set up
- Sync your notes and reminders across your devices
We do not sell, share, or trade user data.
Third-Party Services
The app uses trusted third-party services that may collect anonymous data according to their own privacy policies:
- Google Sign-In – Optional account sign-in; we receive only the profile information (e.g. name, email) you consent to share. Use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Analytics – App usage analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics – Crash reporting and diagnostics
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) – Reminder and notification delivery
- RevenueCat – Subscription management and entitlement status (used to determine whether premium features are active). RevenueCat may process purchase-related information from Apple/Google stores and provide us subscription status via their SDK/API.
- Groq – Voice audio is sent to Groq for speech-to-text transcription (Whisper-class models). See Groq’s Privacy Policy.
- Groq (AI features) – Note summaries, tags, meeting details, and in-app reminder chat may send note text and your messages to Groq for processing. See Groq’s Privacy Policy.
- Sign in with Apple – Optional account sign-in; we receive only the information Apple shares per your choices. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
These services process data according to their own policies. We choose providers that support secure transmission (TLS) and limit what we send to what is needed to run the feature you use.
Google Sign-In
If you use Google Sign-In to access the app:
- We receive only the information you approve (typically your name and email address) to identify your account and sync your notes and reminders.
- We do not store your Google password; authentication is handled securely by Google.
- You can disconnect your account or revoke app access at any time via your Google Account settings.
Google Sign-In is optional; you can use the app as a guest without signing in.
Sign in with Apple
If you use Sign in with Apple:
- We receive only the information Apple provides based on your choices (such as name and email, or a private relay email).
- We do not store your Apple ID password; authentication is handled by Apple.
- You can revoke the app’s access in your Apple ID settings at any time.
Voice Data & AI Processing
Voremi's core feature involves recording your voice and converting it into notes and reminders using AI. Here is exactly how we handle your voice data:
- Your voice recordings are transmitted securely to Groq (speech-to-text) for transcription only. Please review Groq’s Privacy Policy.
- Note text and chat messages may also be sent to Groq to generate summaries, tags, meeting details, and reminder-chat replies.
- We do not intend to store your raw voice audio on our servers after transcription is complete.
- We do not use your voice recordings or personal notes to train AI models without your explicit opt-in consent.
- You can delete any note, transcript, or reminder at any time from within the app.
AI Data Processing Consent
Before you use any AI-powered feature for the first time, Voremi displays an explicit consent screen that:
- Clearly states that your data will be sent to Groq, a third-party AI service
- Lists exactly what data will be sent
- Links to Groq's Privacy Policy (https://groq.com/privacy-policy/)
- Requires you to tap "I Agree" before any data is transmitted
- Allows you to decline, in which case AI features will remain disabled
You can withdraw consent at any time in the app's Settings. Withdrawing consent stops all future data transmission to Groq immediately.
Third-Party AI Processing (Groq)
Voremi uses Groq (groq.com) for three specific AI features:
Feature 1 — Voice Transcription
- What is sent: Your voice audio recording
- Why: To convert your speech into text notes and reminders
- Storage: We do NOT store your raw voice audio on our servers. Audio is sent directly to Groq for transcription and discarded immediately after.

Feature 2 — Note Summary
- What is sent: The text content of your note
- Why: To generate a short AI summary of your note
- Storage: Note text is not stored by us beyond your own account sync.
- Who receives it: Groq, Inc. (https://groq.com)
Feature 3 — AI Reminder Chat
- What is sent: Your chat message (questions about your reminders and notes)
- Why: To understand your question and generate a helpful reply about your reminders
- Storage: We do NOT store your chat messages on our servers. Conversation history is kept only on your device unless you choose to clear it.
- Who receives it: Groq, Inc. (https://groq.com)
We do NOT use your voice audio, note text, or chat messages to train AI models.

User Control
- AI features are opt-in and require explicit consent before first use
- You can disable AI features and withdraw consent in Settings at any time
- Disabling AI features does not delete notes you have already created
Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal
Voremi Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s account settings (App Store or Google Play).
- We do not store your payment card details; purchases are processed by Apple or Google.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Notifications
The app sends optional notifications to remind you of the reminders and tasks you have set. Users can enable or disable notifications at any time through device settings. We do not send marketing notifications without your explicit consent.
Data Storage
- If you use Google Sign-In, account-linked data (e.g. synced notes and reminders) may be stored on our servers to sync across your devices.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
Permissions
The app requests only permissions necessary for core functionality:
- Microphone access (for recording voice notes)
- Notification permissions (for reminders you set)
- Account access (only if you choose Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple)
- Location (optional — only if you grant it; used for coarse country/timezone-related fields as described above)
No sensitive or unnecessary permissions are requested.
Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has shared personal information, please contact us so it can be removed.
Data Security
We follow industry best practices to protect user data, including:
- Minimal data collection
- Encrypted data transmission using TLS/SSL
- Secure SDK usage
- Voice data processed and discarded after transcription
- Regular updates for security and compliance
User Rights & Control
Users have full control over:
